Sustainable Mediterranean Construction
The contribution deals with the subject of valorisation of places at attractive perspective in the Euro-Mediterranean area, emphasizing the importance of re-using selected materials from building demolitions, or otherwise, found near the workplace. It also underlines the importance of architectural detail and technology in defining sustainable, reversible and flexible solutions which, in their apparent simplicity and elegance, enclose a complexity of different actions that characterize the project from the point of view of shape, design and conception, providing the visitor of a unique and memorable experience.
The presentation of two case studies, in Spain, aims to strengthen this hypothesis by demonstrating greater attention to local resources, through interventions resulting from the knowledge and reinterpretation of the territory in which it operates and supports a circular economy system that involves transversal and multidisciplinary professionals able to achieve the 2030 goals.
