The Euro-Mediterranean area is rich in the testimony of history, architecture, art and religion that reveal the journey undertaken by the communities living in this area over the centuries. Within the same context, we are able to highlight the immense landscape and naturalisti value as well as the variety of geo-diversitysites, characterized among other things, by a variety of landscapes, views, and visions observable only through the slow walk between the ancient “tratturi” and roads of memories.
The visual and psycho physical perception of these territories is stimulated through actions that start from the bottom and, alternatively or contextually, through reasoned strategies brought on by the ideas thath ave offered and offerbands of public support regional national and European.
The contributor wants, to investigate the perceptions and territorial transformations, with particolar interest for the area of the high Cilento, planned or occorre thanks to the use of public funds (Rural Development Program for the Region of Campania 2014-2020; JPI Urban Europe; UIA Urban Innovative Actions).
These strategies derive from targeted and timely activities of promotion and enhancement of the natural green and of the whole territory, designed to favor the construction of a “unique Mediterranean cultural and tourist district”, through the “creative” promotion of the “stratified” natural heritage, as well as through the creation of “new compatible and competitive interpretations of culture and landscape”.
