Authors are asked for a fee as Article Processing Charge (APC) for each individual article accepted, intended for supporting the editorial services offered in open access. This contribution is annually determined by the SMC Board of Directors. For the year 2023 the contribution is set at: 250 euros for members of the SMC Association, the Board of Reviewers, the Editorial Committee and the Scientific Committee - 350 euros for all other authors. These amounts are VAT exempt pursuant to art. 4 of Presidential Decree no. 633/1972. The fee must be paid to SMC according to the methods and times indicated to the Authors with the communication of acceptance of the article for publication.
