PRECIOUS OR WASTE ITEMS? BUILT ENVIRONMENT QUALITY AND HARMONY WITH THE PLACE

The Russian expressionist,¹ founder of the artistic movement ‘Der Blue Reiter’, proposes a new spiritual dawn, and asserts the
interiority of the corporeal world; in this painting the concept of the relationship with the world is clearly exposed: the so-called
‘Klang’, sound or resonance, which reveals itself where the place (physical, sound and visual) attains characters adherent and
harmonic with any man’s spirit enjoying that landscape.
In analogy with the feelings that the painting reverberates in the observer, revealing the essence of the world made up of shades, of
different elements (for him the colours), of highs and lows, of light and dark, of antagonism and yet finally of great accord, even our
presence on the planet in the present moment of global difficulty seems to acquire such an apparent and pregnant contradictory
